What exactly does Bin Bath and Beyond do?
Bin Bath and Beyond comes to your home on your regular trash collection day and cleans whichever bins you’ve ordered to have cleaned. We do it right there at the curb, using a specially designed, self-contained truck that scrubs your bins clean inside and out and leaves no mess behind. All you need to do is order the service you want and we’ll do the rest.
How do I pay?
You can order and pay for our services through this website or call us at 250-572-3145. If you’re ordering monthly service you will be charged monthly for the service you have ordered.
Do you provide one-time cleanings?
We sure do! For as low as $19.99 we'll come out and do a one-time cleaning that will remove years of build up in one cleaning.
I have multiple sizes of cans at home. Are they all the same price?
Yes! There will be no surcharge for the larger sizes of cans. What does impact the overall price is how frequently you receive service. For instance, a monthly service will cost much less per cleaning than a one-time clean.
After I order service, when will you start cleaning my bins?
We will send you an email to let you know what day our truck will be in your neighborhood to clean your bins.
Do I have to sign up ALL of my trash cans?
Not at all. You tell us whichever of your trash cans you want done and how often, then we’ll take care of the rest.
What happens if I move out of the Bin Bath and Beyond cleaning area?
If you relocate out of a Bin Bath and Beyond service area, we will prorate your service fees and refund you accordingly.
What happens if I want to cancel my service?
It’s the same as if you move out of our service area. We’ll happily pro-rate your service fees and refund you accordingly.
Does someone need to be home when Bin Bath and Beyond arrives?
Since we clean your bins on the same day as your waste and recycling pickup, your bins should already be out by the curb. Just as you don’t need to be home when your bins are emptied, you don’t need to be home when we come by to clean them. When you do get home, you’ll be wheeling a nice, clean, odor free garbage bin back up the driveway!
Can you remove paint, tar, or other “permanent” items that have dried inside my can?
Paint, tar and other adhesives are extremely difficult to remove and may not come off. We will do our best to remove them as best we can. Cans that have not been washed in several years may require a few more cleanings before these problem areas are broken up and removed. If you have newer cans, they’re sure to look brand new after cleaning. If your cans are several years old, they will be clean but may have that “worn in” look.
Don’t you need detergent to get the bins clean?
Between the extremely high water temperature and the high pressure of our custom rotary cleaning heads, even the toughest dirt, grime and grease comes off with ease. Your bins will be cleaner than any detergent could possibly get them and, as an added benefit, it’s far easier on the environment.
What if I’m away and am not able to have my empty trash bins available to you on my service day?
No problem. Simply call or email us in advance of your cleaning day and we will credit you for that month, skip your cleaning, and visit you the following month.
How will I know if my bins have been cleaned?
Once we've stopped by, we turn the bins that have been cleaned to face the curb, so you'll know your service is complete.
What about a rain barrel? Are you able to clean those as well?
Rain barrels, compost bins, and any container that is approximately the size of a standard garbage bin can be cleaned using our truck. Give us a call, or send us an email with what you'd like us to clean and we'll organize everything for you.
Do you offer special pricing for Stratas, Property Managers or Realtors?
Bin Bath and Beyond is happy to offer customized contract plans for strata and property management companies. What better way to keep your property’s curb appeal up than by making sure those waste bins on the curb are just as tidy as the rest of the grounds? The BC Bin Wash garbage bin cleaning system can scrub every bin on the property at no inconvenience to the residents. We’ll bring our fully automated truck by on regular waste pick up days and sanitize the bins after they’ve been emptied. Our service is environmentally friendly and fully self-contained. All the washing is done completely inside our truck leaving nothing behind but squeaky-clean bins.
